These are the terms for using Charla Club. When you sign up you confirm you have read them, together with the room rules and what we do with your data.

Who provides the service

Pending: provider of the service: name or company name, tax ID and address. Pending the tax adviser.

What Charla Club is

A service for talking by voice with other people at a set time.

• A room is a group of up to 8 people, at a set time, with a host or without one. Anyone can create one, with its title, its category and its length.
• The host is always a real person who looks after the conversation.
• A table is the room of one particular host.
• "Your people" are the people you have both marked, when a room ended, to talk to again.
• A conversation is between two people in "Your people", and there is never a third: no host, no moderators, nobody listening.
• A call is voice within a conversation, and video if you both turn the camera on and one of you has the member plan.

Charla Club is not professional help. It does not organise meet-ups or events either: if two people decide to meet on their own, that is their business and outside the service.

Who can use it

• People aged 18 or older.
• With your first name and a current photo of yourself where your face can be seen.
• From the countries where Charla Club is open.

A person reviews your photo. You can join a room and create your own before that review; until then, others see your initial.

Price

Joining rooms, talking, saying "I'm going", writing to "Your people" and voice calls are always free. Nothing is charged today. There will be a member plan with benefits, such as creating many rooms or video in calls, and it is enough for one of the two people in a call to have it; we will say so in a new version of these terms before charging anything, and what is always free will stay free. Until then, the plan is only held by people who receive it as a gift from Charla Club. Visibility, faces or more requests will never be sold.

What we ask of you

That you follow the room rules, tell the truth about your age and use a photo of yourself.

Moderation, suspension and review

• We review photos, reports and notices of illegal content.
• If we reject your photo or sanction your account, we explain it to you in writing, with the reason.
• A ban with no end date is always decided by a person, after reviewing it.
• You have 14 days to ask for a decision to be reviewed, from "About your account" in the app or by writing to admin@charlaclub.com.

Pending: whether the micro-enterprise exemption of Art. 19 of the Digital Services Act applies and, if not, which out-of-court dispute settlement body is named (Art. 21). Pending the lawyer.

Your account

You can stop using Charla Club whenever you like and delete your account from "Your account", in the app or on the web, or by asking us as explained in what we do with your data.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the room rules, as the rules explain.

If they change

Every version of these texts has its date and stays published at its own address, even after it is no longer in force. If they change, we publish a new version with its date.
